South African Lay Counsellors’ Council (SALCC) is calling for nominations from candidates to serve as members of the SALCC Board. Members registered with the SALCC are invited to submit nominations of members to be elected to serve the Council for a period of two (2) years.
Registration with SACLL for student counsellors, newly trained and Lay Counsellor intern is open until 30 April 2020. The annual registration fee is R350.Email the completed application form, matriculation certificate and your 10 day certificate to firstname.lastname@example.org

South African Lay Counsellors’ Council is a regulatory body for Lay Counsellors in South Africa. In South Africa Lay Counsellors play an integral part of the in the education, diagnosis and management of communicable diseases such as HIV/AIDS, TB & STIs. Lay Counsellors also support adherence and treatment retention programs. In most of the time, clients and patients in these programs enter the program through their contact with the Lay Counsellor.
